Every engagement we take on follows the same delivery standard — scope defined before work starts, senior oversight active throughout, milestone accountability baked in, and a documented handover at close. What changes is how we structure the arrangement to fit your situation.
Engineering Capacity Shouldn't Be the Bottleneck. Most companies that approach us are not short of ambition or direction. They are short of engineering capacity — the right engineers, at the right time, without the overhead of hiring, onboarding, and managing headcount through the cycle. They need a team that shows up, knows what to do, and delivers. Not a vendor who asks questions you cannot answer and then disappears between check-ins. We built Veynir around a simple idea: senior-governed engineering delivery, structured from day one, through engagement models that adapt to the way you actually work.
We work with companies at different stages with different requirements. Some need clarity before committing to a build. Some have a defined project ready to start. Some need flexible engineering hours without a fixed commitment. Some need a dedicated team for the long run. Some are agencies or software houses who need delivery capacity for client projects.
What it is
A structured one to two week paid assessment. We review the platform, requirements, constraints, and business objectives. At the end you have a written technical assessment, a prioritised set of recommendations, and a fixed commercial proposal for any subsequent work. Nothing is left vague.
What you receive
• Written technical assessment — current state, risks, and gaps
• Prioritised recommendations with rationale
• Architecture direction or platform recommendation where applicable
• Fixed commercial proposal for the next phase
• Debrief session with our technical lead
When this is right
When scope is unclear, platform choice has not been made, or you want an independent technical view before committing to a build. Also the standard starting point for any new client relationship regardless of project size.
Investment
Fixed fee, applied against the project or team fee if we proceed together.
What it is
For engagements where scope is defined and outcomes are clear. We agree the full scope, timeline, and total price before any work starts. Delivery proceeds in defined milestones each with a deliverable, a sign-off, and a payment trigger. Senior engineering oversight is present throughout, not just at the start.
How it works
• Discovery Sprint or scoping session to confirm and agree scope
• Statement of Work signed with deliverables, timeline, and milestone payments
• First milestone payment received before any work begins
• Sprint-based delivery with weekly status reports
• Client sign-off at each milestone before the next phase begins
• Final handover with full documentation
When this is right
When the scope is defined, the deadline is real, and you need a delivery partner who is accountable to the outcome not just the hours billed.
Flexible engineering capacity billed on hours delivered — weekly or monthly. You direct the work. Our engineers deliver it. Hours are tracked transparently and reported every week. You are in control of pace and scope throughout.
Time & Material is the most flexible model we offer. It suits companies with evolving requirements, ongoing platform development, or a need for specific technical skills for a defined period without the overhead of a formal project structure.
How it works
• Agree the required roles, seniority, and rate
• Engineers assigned and available — same people each week
• Weekly timesheets and status updates
• Monthly invoicing — first month paid in advance
• Adjust scope, roles, or volume with 30 days notice
When this is right
Ongoing platform development with evolving scope. Agency or consultancy partnerships where flexibility matters. Specific skill coverage for a defined period. Situations where you want to st art quickly without the overhead of a formal project scoping process.
What it is
A dedicated engineering team assembled around your specific requirements — the right seniority mix, the right stack, configured for your delivery flow. Embedded in your sprints, owning features, contributing to the backlog. Technical oversight included. You manage the relationship with us. We manage the team.
This is the model for companies with an ongoing engineering roadmap who want the stability and efficiency of a team that knows the product, rather than managing a series of separate projects or contractor relationships.
How it works
• Agree team configuration — roles, seniority, size
• Engineers assigned — consistent team from month one
• Team joins your stand-ups and sprint planning
• Weekly reporting and fortnightly review calls
• Monthly invoicing — first month paid in advance
• Scale team up or down with 30 days notice after minimum term
When this is right
Ongoing product development. Platform operations that need engineering continuity. Scaling engineering capacity without building permanent headcount. Companies who want a team that knows the codebase, not a rotating cast of contractors.
Our Delivery Partner Programme designed for agencies, software houses, independent consultants, start-ups and scale-ups, who need engineering delivery capacity for client projects. We provide engineering execution under your brand with the same delivery standard we apply to direct client work, full confidentiality, and IP protection throughout.
The arrangement is straightforward: you manage the client relationship and commercial terms. We deliver the engineering. Your client sees your brand throughout.
•Digital agencies that win projects requiring engineering capacity they do not have in-house
•Software houses with overflow or specialist skill requirements
•Independent consultants who advise clients and need engineering execution behind their recommendations
•Boutique technology firms and delivery networks connecting clients to engineering capacity
•Start-ups and Scale-ups who can benefit from having their engineering team without in-house hiring overheads.
•Time & Material
•Defined Project Scopes
Time & Material is the standard arrangement for partner engagements you access our engineering capacity on a flexible hourly basis, we invoice you monthly at partner rates, your client relationship stays with you. For defined project scopes, we can also work on a fixed-price basis.
It is the standard starting point and the right move when scope is unclear. For clients with a fully defined technical brief, we can move directly to scoping and delivery without the sprint stage.
Time & Material is flexible and variable — hours billed as used, volume adjusted week to week, no dedicated team configuration. An Extended Team is a dedicated arrangement — the same engineers embedded in your delivery flow for a sustained period. Extended teams suit roadmap-driven delivery. T&M suits variable scope or agency-driven capacity needs.
It’s frustrating when you have to spend so much time updatin delivery apps. It’s even more frustrat when something gets missed and comes at YOUR expense.
